We're planning a night out for Cannon Air Force Base parents on Friday, February 15th as
a Valentine's Day gift! That's right, it's FREE!

We want you to know that we love and appreciate you and are grateful for your service to our country! Learn more about what we have planned below.

Each child must be registered individually. You may register your child by clicking HERE.

The schedule will be from 6 to 9 PM in our church Fellowship Hall, located at 101 S Avenue D in Portales. Kids can start checking in at 5:45 PM.

We'll feed your kids, then have two hours of fun activities for them to participate in.

Kids 2 years old and younger will be cared for by childcare workers. All our volunteers have been background checked and we promise to provide the best possible care for your kids.

For preschoolers (ages3 to 6) we will have four activity options: Making edible playdough (what kid wouldn't like that?); to making puppets and learning how to use them in telling stories; to making homemade greeting cards that will knock their parent's socks off; to spending time in a reading room filled with books filled with every kind of story, from mystery to adventure!

For elementary kids (Grades 1st - 6th) we will offer: Cookie baking (will use peanut butter); Arrowhead making (otherwise known as flint knapping); Boat racing (kids will assemble, decorate and race their own boat); Sewing (They will make a small quilt); Making slime (what kid wouldn't want to mess around with slime!?!?); Homemade greeting card making (cards that will blow parents away); and time in a terrific room with all kinds of reading material from adventures to mysteries to science fiction - kids will take home their own book).
